About NIU Scooter Policies
NIU Housing bans parking transportation devices inside residence halls and prohibits charging or storing motorized/electric scooters indoors (warning, then $200 fine and removal). Lock only to university outdoor racks; register/photo with NIU Police recommended for recovery.
