SJSU Scooter Rules and Picks
Personal e-scooters are not allowed at SJSU — see the official campus policy.
Personal e-scooters not allowed
Published policy indicates personal electric scooters are prohibited on this campus. We do not recommend buying a personal e-scooter for San José State University.
Consider a traditional bike, campus transit, walking routes, or other micromobility your school explicitly allows. Confirm details on the official policy page below.
About SJSU Scooter Policies
SJSU does not allow motorized scooters on campus grounds. Where other personal devices are allowed, a 5 mph speed limit applies. Check the Admin & Finance micromobility page for updates to Presidential Directive 2007-06.
